SKULLCANDY LAUNCH NEW ELEVATED OLIVE COLOURWAY FOR APRIL

For the second month of our ‘12 Moods’ campaign, we’re celebrating a different way music makes us feel. In April, the mood we’re feeling is Elevated. With Earth Day and 4/20 falling in April, it’s the perfect time of year to refresh and elevate our perspectives as we welcome Spring and celebrate what the earth has to offer.

The colour we’ll use to bring our mood to life this month is Elevated Olive—a deep organic green that honours our natural surroundings.

Kicking off April 4, we’ll be dropping new products and exclusive content featuring those who make us feel Elevated—hip hop duo EARTHGANG, and professional snowboarder, Eero Ettala. We hope their performances, stories, and attitudes inspire you as they inspire us—to approach the world and create with an Elevated mindset.

THE ELEVATED ARTIST: EARTHGANG

EARTHGANG is, as music publication Pitchfork recently put it, “your cosmic alternative in a city of cold-hearted trap stars.” Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia the hip-hop duo of Johnny Venus and Doctur Dot is a breath of fresh air, akin to the artistic stylings of fellow Atlanta natives and hip-hop legends, Outkast. Rather than celebrating the dark side of their world, EARTHGANG is elevating the game with high-minded lyrics and an exhilarating presence, making them a natural fit as we celebrate this month’s mood.

Skullcandy will feature a studio performance of EARTHGANG’s “Stuck” in a pop-up grow room set in Los Angeles, along with behind-the-scenes content and an exclusive interview.

THE ELEVATED ATHLETE: EERO ETTALA

Eero Ettala boasts a professional snowboarding career that’s lasted nearly two decades—an unheard-of amount of time in the industry. Because he’s never stopped re-inventing himself, Eero has managed to not only progress his sport by inventing new tricks but has also transformed how the sport is presented to the world. Eero’s wisdom and innovative nature continues to make him one of the most elevated figures in the world of action sports, and will be latest athlete to be featured in an ongoing docuseries featuring Skullcandy’s roster of athletes.
