Conor Daly to follow in his fathers footsteps at Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona

The KINC’s Conor Daly will join RSR Racing to complete in the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona this weekend. The team will consist of Chris Cumming, Alex Tagliani, Rusty Mitchell and Conor. The American will compete for the first time in a Prototype Challenge race car and joins Tagliani as first-time competitors in the Rolex 24.

All drivers in the RSR Racing line-up look to battle for the prestigious victory of the 24 Hours at Daytona, to stand atop the podium and hoist the trophy for the first event in the TUDOR United Sports Car Championship. Derek Daly, Conor’s dad, qualified on the Pole (in the rain) at the Daytona 24 Hours in 1992, the last time he competed there.

The RSR Racing team will debut when the green flag flies at the 3.56-mile Daytona International Speedway on January 25th at 2:10PM EST signalling the start of the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona.
