Russian Long Jump Star Darya Klishina teams up with Skullcandy
Skullcandy, the original performance and lifestyle audio brand, unveiled their latest ambassador signing, double European Indoor Long Jump Champion Darya Klishina.
Darya is currently preparing for the IAAF 2015 World Championships in Beijing ahead of the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics. The 23-year-old Russian also recently took bronze at the 2014 European Athletic Championships in Zurich, Switzerland.
“We are thrilled to welcome Darya into the Skullcandy Family. She’s a fascinating athlete who embodies our brand’s performance and lifestyle attitude,” said Feliciano Robayna from Skullcandy Sports Marketing.
As a Skullcandy Sports Performance Ambassador, she is poised for a bright future in competitive athletics, having already achieved great success at both junior and senior international level. In addition to a strong roster of Action Sports athletes, Darya joins an elite list of Skullcandy brand ambassadors that includes Brazil National Football Team captain Thiago Silva, NBA stars James Harden and Kyrie Irving and Three-time Surfing World Champion Mick Fanning.
“Music is such a large and important part of my training and competition preparation – and the sports related products that Skullcandy design and produce just make it so much easier to work out with my favorite tunes,” said Klishina.
“Skullcandy is a brand that I have admired for a long time, and I couldn’t be happier to be working with their team.”
As part of the partnership, Darya will front advertising campaigns, social media promotions and events across Skullcandy’s networks – with a particular focus on promoting Skullcandy’s Sport Performance range of training headphones.
“We can’t wait to tell Darya’s story through the Skullcandy lens and look forward to supporting her every step of the way as she prepares for what will be two of the most important years in her athletic career, ” added Robayna.
