Ella Eyre part of the England Rugby Fan engagement campaign

Ella Eyre leads the nation’s support of England Rugby in 2015 on a new recording of Swing Low, Sweet Chariot alongside crowd sourced voices for its Every Voice Counts campaign.

The Every Voice Counts campaign, which has been created and implemented by KINC was launched in March 2015 to give fans the chance to be part of a new recording of Swing Low, Sweet Chariot, which was released on Monday 7th September by Virgin EMI. All proceeds from the single will go to All Schools, a programme that is supported by principle partner CBRE, and was set up in partnership with the Rugby Football Foundation, to increase the number of state secondary schools playing rugby in England.

The music video was released on Facebook for 24 hours from 10am on Thursday 10th September before being made widely available. It features Ella Eyre, the current England squad and England Rugby legends Will Carling Jonny Wilkinson, Lawrence Dallaglio and Lewis Moody.

Since the campaign was launched in conjunction with Facebook, England Rugby’s fans increased by 120,000, it has received over 4.6 million views on the campaign videos with nearly 80,000 likes and over 50,000 shares on Facebook. There has also been more than 200,000 views of the Facebook app and 70,000 views on the entrants uploads with over 50,000 shares, likes and votes registered so far.
