YUNGEN X TIMBERLAND LAUNCH BROOKLYN SNEAKER WITH CONTENT PIECE THE GREEN ROOM

Platinum-selling rapper Yungen and iconic lifestyle brand Timberland have partnered to launch the retro-inspired Brooklyn sneaker, dropping the content piece The Green Room, a musical escape set amidst the lush greenery of the conservatory in London’s famed Barbican Centre.

Featuring the track ‘Myself ft. Àngel’ from Yungen’s newly dropped ‘Project Purple’, The Green Room presents melodious beats in a tropical escape at the core of London’s most recognisable brutalist structure. The video’s juxtaposition of the urban with the green, demonstrates Timberland’s push to celebrate the culture of green spaces in cities.

Made for the restless city dweller, Timberland’s Brooklyn sneaker offers the wearer the freedom and durability to choose adventure and escape, anywhere.

Speaking about the collab Yungen said, “Like most Londoners, I’m always moving, so the Brooklyn sneakers match my energy. It’s good to escape sometimes, to take a minute and clear your headspace. Having these amazing green spaces across our city that give us the space to be free, we’re lucky to have them”.

‘Project Purple’ showcases the success the South-London rapper Yungen has had so far, reigniting his domination of UK rap’s commercial space with his distinctive style and unmissable wordplay, gearing up for what looks like his most successful year yet.

Made for the ‘90s retro enthusiast, Brooklyn is a key addition to the sneakers family, celebrating the brand’s outdoor and utility DNA. A lace-up oxford in mix materials, it features premium soft suede and full rip-stop fabric with an aerocore midsole, making it perfect for urban adventures.

The new Brooklyn collection is available online and in-store now.
