KLATTERMUSEN WIN GOLD IN TGO GEAR OF THE YEAR AWARDS 2020
Klättermusen’s Vale jacket won Gold at the 2020 TGO Gear of the Year Awards in the Clothing Category. Klättermusen were shortlisted in two further categories, with the Höner Backpack making the Equipment shortlist, and the Farbaute getting shortlisted for Sustainability.
Speaking about the Vale jacket, Judge Alex Roddie said “It’s very impressive. It’s lightweight, fits really well under a waterproof jacket, and is extremely warm for the weight thanks to high-quality, Primaloft Gold Active+ synthetic insulation. It’s incredibly breathable too. I can see it being ideal for winter backpacking in gnarly conditions. Sustainability is also top notch – it’s 100% recycled polyamide, bluesign-approved and PFC-free.”
Klättermusen CEO and Nordic Mountaineer Gonz Ferrero says of the Vale, “We put a lot of thought into the usability of this piece, and wanted to create something that was simple, but highly breathable and fast drying. It’s a fundamentally reliable jacket that you can turn to again and again for different activities due to its versatility and functionality.”
The Vale is available in men’s and women’s sizing, and retails at £250. It comes in three colourways – Blue Sapphire, Molten Lava and Raven. www.klattermusen.com/en/
