Charles Tyrwhitt: Regent Street Store Opening

KINC lead the opening of the new Charles Tyrhwitt store on Regent Street, running a wide-reaching press plan that included interviews with both the CEO and Founders of the company across a range of titles in the business news, national and lifestyle spaces, and hosting an event at the new store to showcase the brand’s latest collections.

The day began early in the morning with our production team getting to work to transform the lower level of the store to set up a staging area used for broadcast interviews in the day ahead of an address from founder Nick Wheeler in the evening. Sky Sports arrived to carry out a broadcast interview with National sports legend Dame Kelly Holmes. The Times arrived shortly after to carry out a photoshoot and interview, celebrating the sporting legend’s new book release, which is being celebrated as part of the Sports Book of the Year awards – now sponsored by Charles Tyrwhitt.

The evening was a triumph, with a number of key industry figures in attendance to hear founder Nick Wheeler in conversation with legendary brand ambassador Matt Dawson about the brand and its growth, ethos and ambassadors. Refreshments were flowing as the crowd mingled, with a number of journalists in attendance to hear what the founder had to say, along with a number of Charles Tyrwhitt friends including some notable figures from the sporting world such as England Rugby’s top pick for the season, Marcus Smith and rugby legend Brian Moore. The evening was a great opportunity to celebrate the brand’s success and to say thank you to the constant support from within the Charles Tyrwhitt family and friends circle.
